2012 Meursault Premier Cru, pure Chardonnay, Burgundy.

Meursault is the capital of the fine white wines from Burgundy. Thanks to an outstanding terroir, the Chardonnay perfectly expresses and the 2012 Meursault Premier Cru Blagny reveals a scented and characterful wine. It was aged in barrels with fine grains and a light toast for 14 months. Thus, the wine gives off a good aromatic complexity: result of the combination of its particular terroirs and a careful vinification. The 2012 Meursault Premier Cru Blagny from Domaine Faiveley exhibits a light and bright yellow colour with an expressive nose; floral and woody notes are felt. On the palate, the attack is frank; the wine is ample and harmonious. The palate is bold and carries a good persistence.
