On the palate, it is elegant with velvety texture and spicy notes on finish. The Ermitage Les Dionnieres 2010 Ferraton Père & Fils comes from a Syrah vineyard of about 35 years of age. It was aged in oak barrels from 14 to 18 months depending on the vintage, in order to offer the wine a good ageing potential.
