The producer
Established in Ampuis for 6 generations the Gérin family has become, over the course of the vintages, an unavoidable name unavoidable among the producers of the great wines of the Rhône Valley.
The vineyard
The Domaine Jean-Michel Gérin watches over a vineyard of 12 hectares spread over the emblematic appellations of Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu.
The wine
The Landonne de Jean-Michel Gérin is built from vineyards planted between 1989 and 1991 on the eponymous terroir of Côte-Rôtie, with an area of 0,4 hectares and southern exposure.
Winemaking and ageing
This wine benefits from a 22-month ageing in oak barrels of which 40% new and 60% of one or two wines.

100% syrah.
