The refinement and fruity backbone of a Chambolle-Musigny wine

The estate

Maison Louis Latour is one of the oldest wine houses in Burgundy still owned by the founding family. The Latour family began acquiring vineyards in the Côte de Beaune as early as 1731, and Jean Latour settled in Aloxe-Corton in 1768, where he developed a major wine estate. The domain owns outstanding plots in Aloxe-Corton, including the prestigious Corton Grèves and Corton Bressandes, and has distinguished itself with its historic winery.

The vineyard

Chambolle-Musigny is one of the smallest appellations in the Côte de Nuits, renowned for its delicately perfumed, elegant wines. This cuvée is made from vines averaging 30 years old, thriving on a clay-limestone subsoil that gives the wine its characteristic finesse.

Vinification and aging

Traditional vinification in open vats. Complete malolactic fermentation. Aging lasts 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels from the estate’s own cooperage.

Grape variety

100% Pinot Noir.
