The 2009 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru of Louis Latour perfectly reveals the fruit and strength of the Pinot Noir. The wine displays an almost black cherry-tinted bright ruby red colour. On the nose, this wine is complex and gives off cherry, blackcurrant, redcurrant or even blackberry aromas. For this Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru, Maison Louis Latour aged the wine in barrels which give it a slightly smoky wood character. On the palate, strength, richness and elegance unite to compose a complex full-bodied wine. This Burgundy wine offers a long finish on liquorice. This 2009 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru of Louis Latour is a generous and intense wine with ageing potential.
