Neve 2021 by M. Chapoutier is a Côte-Rôtie wine that stems from a vineyard located on the hillside of the eponymous hamlet, in Ampuis. Enjoying an ideal south/south-east facing exposure, this terroir is unique in that its soil is composed of schist and mica schist and comprises a few seams of earth on the middle part of the hillside.
2021 is a vintage during which the contrasting weather conditions between the northern and southern parts of the Rhône Valley revealed the nuances and richness of each of these fine terroirs. This vintage exudes an alluring finesse and its aromatic palette harmoniously blends complexity and elegance.
