2005 Gewurztraminer, Alsace.
The Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre cuvee from Maison Trimbach is only produced during the great vintages, such as 2005. This worth-keeping Gewurztraminer is to be tasted around 2016. The nose is floral, spicy and fruity with characteristic notes of exotic fruits and a good freshness. On the palate, the 2005 Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre from Maison Trimbach offers a good persistence as well as much finesse and elegance, with a finish on mild spices.
