The estate

For over 12 generations, the Trimbach House has been an iconic reference among the finest Alsace wines. The balance between fruit, acidity and minerality is the guiding principle behind the vinification of all the vintages by this family-owned estate, which is renowned for its unique style and produces wines that seduce the finest international gourmets with their high quality.

Located in the heart of the magnificent village of Ribeauvillé, in the heart of the Alsace Wine Route, the estate benefits from an exceptional terroir, both in terms of its sandstone, limestone, marl and clay soils and its oceanic influences due to the nearby Vosges mountains. The Trimbach estate tends to a 50-hectare vineyard, spread over more than 50 plots and 9 villages.

The 2016 Riesling "Sélection de Vieilles Vignes" by the Trimbach estate is made from two plots located in the village of Hunawihr, composed of marl and limestone soils.
