Description
The 2009 Monteverro is of a dark, bright red with a purple rim. The nose has concentrated aromas with spices like white pepper, chocolate and cedar wood with hints of cherry, jasmine, tea leaves, black currant and cigar. The palate is powerful, subtle at first with a structure of a great acidity, sustained by cherry, cassis and dark chocolate with dense tannins.
