Description
The richness and structure of an Oregon red wine
The estate
The Nicolas Jay winery sprang from the friendship between Jean-Nicolas Méo, a Burgundian winemaker and Jay Boberg, an American music producer.
Located in the heart of the North Willamette Valley in Oregon, the estate tends to a terroir composed mainly of old vines. Moreover, relationships with partner winegrowers, who farm their vineyards organically and biodynamically, ensure the supply of high-quality grapes.
The vineyard
Nicolas Jay's Bishop Creek Pinot Noir is a Yamhill-Carlton District wine that is made from a vineyard composed of, on average, over 30-year-old vines.
The blend
This 2016 Bishop Creek Pinot Noir by Nicolas Jay is a 100% Pinot Noir.
