Franciacorta Extra Brut 2008 from Ricci Curbastro

This straw-tinted bright yellow coloured 2008 Franciacorta Extra-Brut offers a fine and continuous effervescence. It gives off grilled, mineral notes, as well as fresh fruit and sweet almond aromas. It is bold and pure on the palate with a fresh and persistent finish. Ricci Curbastro is famous worldwide for its great quality Franciacorta. The Franciacorta Extra-Brut is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It was vinified following the traditional Franciacorta method with a secondary fermentation in bottle and a very low dosed sweetening.
