The 2014 Clos Romans from Thierry Germain’s Domaine des Roches Neuve is a single-grape Chenin Blanc. This Saumur comes from an 11^th century walled vineyard facing the Loire River.

The 2014 vintage displays a crystal-clear, bright, straw colour, with silver-green beams. The nose combines concentration, freshness, generosity, and power evolving into composite scents of fruits, flowers and plants for lovely freshness. The 2014 Clos Romans offers white, yellow, and exotic fruit notes -apple, pear, or even peach- as well as floral and citrus aromas altogether enhanced with vegetal hints: jasmine, bergamot, ginger, or even fern.
