For over twenty years, the exceptional winegrower, Xavier Vignon, has been considered one of the finest experts in the Southern Rhône Valley. Each wine by Xavier Vignon accurately reflects the desire to reveal the identity of the fine Rhône Valley terroirs, all while expressing his own identity: the Xavier Vignon identity. His exclusive innovations only enhance his creativity, such as the Arcane collection, which promises to take wine lovers on an incredible sensory wine tasting experience.
All the wines by Xavier Vignon stem from the Rhône Valley. For the Arcane collection, the winemaker carefully selects his terroirs in order to explore their full potential. Arcane XIX Le Soleil 2015 comprises 9 plots located in various villages in the north of the Vaucluse. They rest on cool but south-facing terroirs and result in a contrasting wine. The vines used are old: a hundred years old for the Grenaches, eighty years old for the Mourvèdres and fifty years old for the Syrahs.
The sun, a radiant symbol, points to the sunny character of this Côtes du Rhône Villages wine. The utter embodiment of a luminous Grenache blend, the intensity of Xavier Vignon's Arcane XIX Le Soleil 2015 is due to its south-facing plots.
