The property

The vineyard

Unique for its natural amphitheatre vineyard, the Cornas appellation reveals through the Back Vintages signed Xavier Vignon a powerful and refined expression. This wine is made from vineyards resting on shallow granitic soils, composed of potassium, iron and magnesium.

Vinification and ageing

Hand-harvested, the grapes undergo vinification in whole bunches. Long maceration to promote concentration and intense colour. Long ageing in new and old casks.
