Auxey-Duresses

Auxey-Duresses is an appellation of Burgundy that covers a total area of more than 130 hectares, exclusively located within the commune of Auxey-Duresses. Auxey-Duresses is represented by cuvées that are produced in appellations of the Village classification, as well as 9 climats in the Premier Cru classification. The vines are planted in clayey-limestone soils, with a significant amount of marl-limestone. The red wines of Auxey-Duresses are marked by their finesse, suppleness and fleshy character. The whites are first lively and then full-bodied, with a splendid aromatic persistence.
