A generous and full-bodied Haut-Medoc

The property is managed by Isabelle Mulliez, Belle-Vue is a Haut-Medoc that never ceases to surprise year after year. The vineyard of 14.58 hectares produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot on plots of deep gravel.

Chateau Belle-Vue 2016 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (45%), Merlot (35%) and Petit Verdot (20%). Its colour is very deep and pronounced, similar to ink. Aromas are immediately present, rich and fruity. In the mouth, the weight of the wine is very full, with dense tannins. This wine is a sublime combination of superb freshness, and aims to impress.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Blended of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 20% Petit Verdot, the 2016 Belle-Vue has a medium to deep garnet-purple color and nose of spice box, cedar chest and oolong tea with a core of red and black currants plus a waft of chargrill. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh, soft and juicy with a lovely burst of black fruit in the mouth leading to a savory finish. Nearly 900 cases were made.
