Description
A rich and balanced Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe
The estate
With origins dating back to 1647 following its acquisition by the Capdemourlin family, Chateau Cap de Mourlin is one of the oldest estates in the Saint-Emilion appellation. This family-owned estate wrote a new page in its history in 1983 through infrastructure renovation work which enhanced the quality of the wines from this exceptional terroir.
The vineyard
Chateau Cap de Mourlin 2021 is a Saint-Emilion wine that stems from a 14-hectare vineyard. The vines, which are 34 years old on average, are planted on the northern slopes of the appellation and on a clay-limestone and clay-siliceous terroir.
The blend
Chateau Cap de Mourlin 2021 comprises a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
