Produced by the Grand Cru Classé of Graves Château Couhins, the Château Couhins White 2018 has an aromatic profile marked by the imprint of Sauvignon Blanc. Intensely expressive and of great aromatic purity, the bouquet literally springs from the glass, opening on the acidic freshness of citrus, evoking lemon zest and mandarin. Beautiful notes of green apple, along with floral and smoky notes appear next. On the palate, the wine presents a superb definition, evolving a great roundness and generosity. The juicy fruit is balanced by a strong tension and a bracing acidity, which continues into a persistent and aromatic finish. A white Pessac-Léognan of character in a great vintage for Bordeaux.
