Description
2003 Sauternes 2e Cru Classe, Bordeaux.
The 2003 Sauternes Chateau de Myrat was produced from a family property, a vineyard of 22 hectares, planted on the beautiful Barsac terroir. This vintage is 88% Sémillon, 8% Sauvignon and 4% Muscadelle.
This lemon yellow coloured wine is bright and limpid. On the nose, this 2003 Chateau de Myrat reveals saffron and mineral notes. On the palate, the attack is bold on citrusy zests and offers a great volume with nice acacia and vine flower aromas. Despite the fact that there was a drought in 2003, this vintage is great and strong.
