The 2014 Chateau de Pibarnon rosé; from the Bandol appellation is 65% Mourvedre and 35% Cinsault. The unique location of the vineyard (high altitude slope, up to 300m) and bold blend bring a certain complexity to this rosé, along with distinctive personality and elegance.
The 2014 Chateau de Pibarnon is a gourmet wine with explosive citrus and ripe fruit flavours, followed by liquorice nuances from the Mourvedre. The palate is fresh, long, increased by the sap, fruits, thick texture, and spices. This four seasons Bandol is superbly balanced, ethereal, refreshing, and fruity. In the first months will reveal more minerals, complexity, and length, followed later on by more structure.
