Château La Lagune 2002 exhibits a beautiful ruby-tinted red colour. The palate is frank and clean. A good expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon gives this Haut-Medoc solid structure and nice zip. The great finesse of the tannins is really enjoyeable. If you dare to serve a red wine on a sole or sea bass, this wine could be it.
Made in a pretty, elegant, fruity, dark ruby-hued style, the 2002 offers notes of allspice, plums, and resin, followed by attractive medium-bodied black cherry and currant flavors. Not a big wine, it is a well-balanced, elegant claret for enjoying over the next 7-8 years.
