The estate
Domaine de la Vougeraie was founded in 1999 with the ambition of bringing together, within a single estate, all the Premiers Crus, Grands Crus and Monopoles gradually acquired since 1964 by the Boisset family, wine négociants. Championing a viticulture attuned to its vineyards, Domaine de la Vougeraie produces cuvées whose precision, purity, elegance and aromatic richness have earned them recognition as prestigious Burgundy wines. Domaine de la Vougeraie tends 34 hectares of vines spread across 67 plots.
The vineyard
Domaine de la Vougeraie's “Clos de la Chapelle” cuvée is a Premier Cru Chassagne-Montrachet wine from the Morgeot climat, which lies behind an old chapel that gave the wine its name. Farmed biodynamically, this Cistercian clos, a golden triangle in the Côte de Beaune, has stood the test of time.
