Wine Advocate-Parker : Tasting surprisingly oaky, the 2013 Cotes du Roussillon Villages Foun includes pre-phylloxera Carignan. Leather and toasted nuts speak more of the demi-muids than the grape variety, but there is a wonderful sense of lightness and vivacity throughout. With sufficient airing, hints of raspberries, licorice and garrigue come through, so perhaps this wine just needs a bit more time to work through its current funk. Medium-bodied, it shows the domaine's characteristic freshness and silky texture.
