Georges Vernay's 2012 Terrasses de l'Empire show a golden pale yellow colour. Fragrances of apricot, peach, acacia flowers and subtle salty notes bring a lovely crisp texture on the palate with well-balanced acidity. The finish offers acacia flowers notes and fresh with an underlying iodized sensation. The 2012 Terrases de l'Empire is a Condrieu with transcendent style and elegance. The 100% Viognier from approximately 35 years old vines is aged on fine lees for 8 month, in both wood vats and barrels.
