In the heart of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, Domaine La Rouillère, founded in 1900, rose from the ashes in 1998 following the estate's purchasing by Bernard and Magali Letartre. These two enthusiasts express all the charm of the terroir through rosé wines that combine tradition and innovation.
Producing fine Côtes de Provence wines, Domaine La Rouillère's 45-hectare vineyard is planted on a land that enjoys plentiful amounts of sunshine and a pleasant sea breeze.
Vinification and ageing
Following the harvest, the grapes are cooled by a tubular heat exchanger as soon as they arrive in the cellar. The grapes are then pneumatically pressed, followed by a first selection of the juice. The temperature is controlled during fermentation and the wine is racked in order to age on fine lees until bottling.
The colour is pale with subtle salmon hues.
Discreet, the nose mixes notes of white flowers and dried fruits.
Balanced and persistent, the palate reveals notes of citrus and small red fruits.
This Provence rosé should be served at a temperature of between 10 and 12°C.
Food and wine pairing
Aperitif, Mediterranean cuisine, grilled meats or fish will all perfectly complement this 2020 Petite Rouillère rosé.
