Chateau de Selle Rose Coeur de Grain 2016 from Domaines Ott is a rose produced in the Côtes de Provence region. The vines are, on average, 19 years old and planted on gypsum, red clay, dolomite, and sandstone mixed with gravel and stones. Chateau de Selle Rose Coeur de Grain is a blend of 57% Grenache, 30% Cinsault, 5% Mourvedre, 2% Syrah and 6% of other different grape varieties.
Its crystal clear pale colour with peach highlights are the striking characteristics of Chateau de Selle Rose Coeur de Grain 2016. The nose is elegant and complex, producing aromas of citrus (lemons, grapefruits) and yellow fruits (apricots, peaches, pears), along with subtle and delicate notes of flowers. This wine is silky and powerful in the mouth. The finish is spicy and fruity with a beautiful aromatic persistence.
