A fresh and aromatic Côtes-du-Rhône white wine

The estate

Committed to practicing traditional viticultural methods that respect both the terroir and the environment, Famille Perrin has become an essential reference among fine Rhône Valley wines over the years. A forerunner in the innovative organic farming approach since 1950 followed by biodynamic in 1974, the Perrin family produces fine wines that are renowned beyond the French borders for their quality and refinement.

The wine

The Cuvée Réserve 2021 white wine by the Perrin family is a Côtes du Rhône wine that stems from a selection of vineyards located in the villages of Cairanne and Jonquières. These terroirs are located on fresh alluvial deposits of limestone origin.

The vintage

2021 is a vintage marked by an episode of frost during spring along with heavy rainfall during the harvest. The teams’ diligence enabled them to preserve the vineyard’s healthy condition. The grapes harvested reveal a fresh and balanced wine, reminiscent of the vintages produced in the 1980s and 1990s.

Vinification and ageing

Harvested early in the morning. Pressing followed by cold static settling to eliminate any suspended particles. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel vats at low temperature (16°C). Racking then ageing in stainless steel vats until bottling.
