François Villard : Les Terrasses du Palat 2018

From a parcel in Chavanay, it is well contained, a touch settled into its ripeness, but for 2018 this seems well managed. The Viognier is not overpowering and the whole unfolds its aromatic flowers, wisteria and jasmine. The oak is well-integrated. The palate coats without heaviness, with a pleasant core. Some fine bitters cut through the controlled richness of this wine.
