Food and wine pairings
This white grand cru pairs beautifully with refined, well-structured dishes. It is an ideal match for noble shellfish such as lobster or spiny lobster, pan-seared foie gras, and delicate fish served with a creamy sauce.

The elegance and precision of a great Burgundy estate
The estate
Established in Puligny-Montrachet in 1859, the estate was founded by Jean-Édouard Dupard. Today, the fifth generation, represented by Jean-Michel and Anne-Laure Chartron, runs this family property. Driven by a deep respect for nature, the Jean Chartron estate stands out for its unwavering commitment to producing pure, complex wines that faithfully express their exceptional terroirs.
The vineyard
This cuvée comes from a single contiguous plot on the slopes of Puligny-Montrachet, at the heart of the Bâtard-Montrachet appellation. The old vines, deeply rooted in clay-limestone soil, give the grapes remarkable concentration and the minerality typical of the greatest white wines of the Burgundy region.
Vinification and ageing
The grapes are gently pressed to preserve the full purity of the fruit. Both fermentation and ageing take place in oak barrels. The wine is then aged on fine lees, enriching its texture while preserving its freshness.
Grape variety
Chardonnay (100%).
