Kloster Eberbach is an illustrious German wine institution. A former Cistercian monastery located in the heart of the Rheingau wine region, Kloster Eberbach has been producing wine for almost nine centuries. As a member of the prestigious Verband Deustcher Prädikats (VDP), this estate is one of the largest and most prestigious wine producers in Germany.
Kloster Eberbach's Riesling Erbacher Marcobrunn Trocken Grosses Gewächs 2019 is a Rheingau wine that stems from the "Marckinborn" wine-growing area, which has been renowned for its quality since the 14th century. This area is one of the oldest monastic vineyards. The vines are planted on the slopes of the south-facing vineyards and rest on clayey marl and limestone soils.
The nose blends fresh quince and passion fruit fragrances with a subtle hint of Yuzu.
Ample and expressive, the palate is seduced by this wine’s balance as well as its persistent and well-blended finish.
For an optimal tasting, serve between 12 and 14°C.
