The harmony and delicacy of a white wine from Pessac-Léognan

    The estate
Owned by the Bernard family since 1983, the magnificent Domaine de Chevalier is one of the greatest Classified Growths of Bordeaux. Like a secret garden, this iconic estate of the Pessac-Léognan appellation is located in a verdant setting south of Bordeaux. L’Esprit de Chevalier is the second wine of the estate.

    The vineyard
Domaine de Chevalier reigns over a rare vineyard comprising 5 hectares of white vines. The vineyard is planted in gravelly soil with clayey-gravelly subsoils.

    The ageing
10 months on lees in oak barrels

    The blend
    Sauvignon (65%), sémillon (35%).

    The tasting
The L’Esprit de Chevalier white 2019 displays a clear, pale gold colour with bright reflections. The very pure bouquet reveals aromas of citrus and vine peach. After aeration, floral notes emerge. The L’Esprit de Chevalier white 2019 expresses a rich and crystalline palate of great liveliness. Smooth and indulgent are the key words to describe this 2019 vintage of the l’Esprit de Chevalier white.
