2010 Pessac-Leognan Chateau Haut-Brion 2nd Wine
Clarence de Haut-Brion is Chateau Haut-Brion Second Vin. The 2010 vintage is a blend of Merlot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot produced from the same vines as Chateau Haut-Brion wines.
This Pessac-Léognan presents a very bright violet-red colour. The nose is a bit reserved at first, yet reveals lovely complex aromas with the swirl: fresh red fruits mixed with warm scents: cocoa. The 2010 Clarence de Haut-Brion offers very sweet attack, followed by more pronounced tannic structure, and further refined tannins.
