Chambolle-Musigny village holds 180 hectares (445 acres) of Cote de Nuits famous walled vineyards including Vougeot, Morey-Saint-Denis, and Gevrey-Chambertin. Louis Latour’s 2012 Chambolle-Musigny Village was born on rich limestone soils which bring elegance and fragrance to the wine. Fruit notes dominate the bouquet, with hints of black fruits: blackberries and currant. This Burgundy also reveals liquorice and cinnamon scents. The structured 2012 Chambolle-Musigny Village impresses with strong texture and distinguished tannins.
