Louis Latour : Grands-Echezeaux Grand cru 2012

The 2012 Cuvée Grands Echézeaux Grand Gru from the House of Louis Latour gets its name from the vineyard parcel that produces the grapes, located between Vosne-Romanée and Vougeout in the Côte de Nuits. The clay-limestone soils and the Pinot Noir vines produce strong and robust wines, balanced with great aging potential. The 2012 vintage of the Cuvée Grands Echézeaux from Louis Latour seduces with a lovely aromatic complexity. On the nose one can find aromas of blackberry, black currant and mocha. This Burgundy is ample and elegant with silky tannins and aromas of cherry.
