Paul Jaboulet-Aîné : Domaine de Terre Ferme 2009

Domaine de Terre Ferme is the property of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aîné since 2007. Its name derives from the main place of its vineyards, in the most famous appellation of the southern Rhone Valley: Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The vineyards are facing South, on a sandy-clay soil, and create warm and rich wines. This Domaine de Terre Ferme 2009 robe is straw-coloured with green glints. On the nose, it is expressive on floral notes, such as acacia flower, and fruity accents, such as white peach and pear. On the palate, it is fresh and elegant, with a nervous and persistent finish. It is composed of 80% Grenache Blanc and 20% Clairette.
