Description
Twelfth vintage of this cuvee, the 2013 Hermitage La Petite Chapelle of Domaine Paul Jaboulet-Aîné is a single-grape wine made from old Syrah vines of 40 to 60 years of age.
This 2013 vintage displays a ruby-tinted deep red colour. The 2013 Hermitage La Petite Chapelle gives off notes of dark fruit, such as blackberry and blueberry, associated with spices and hints of dried petal. Sappy, precise and concentrated, its palate presents intense aromas of blackcurrant, cranberry with a hint of liquorice. Spices are emphasised on the finish. The 2013 Hermitage La Petite Chapelle then develops mineral and smoky notes brought together with subtle and harmonious tannins.
