The Reserve Bin A Chardonnay from Penfolds is a Chardonnay white wine produced in the Adelaide Hills appellation of Australia. The ageing of the wine is carried out in French oak barrels (40% in new barrels) for 9 months.

At tasting, the Penfolds Reserve Bin A Chardonnay 2015 displays a very pale straw yellow colour. The nose develops aromas of white fruit (peach), pink grapefruit, quince and pink lady apple skin, combined with creamy notes of apples and cinnamon. One can then detect complex notes of nougat with almonds and fresh brie. On the palate, the wine offers, consistent with the nose, tasty touches of white peach, pink grapefruit and apple with the cream. Flavours of almond cream and parsnips appear, as well as a beautiful presence of oak. The superb acidity of the Reserve Bin A Chardonnay 2015 adds much to this wine, which ends on a fresh and clean finish.
