The white Grand Vin of Château Valandraud is produced in limited quantity and the Château Valandraud 2018 is one of the most beautiful vintages of the estate, located on the right bank of Bordeaux.

Fruit of a blend of Sauvignon Gris (50%), Sauvignon Blanc (40%) and Semillon (10%), the Château Valandraud white 2018 offers a splendid expression of fruit. Powerful, racy and fruity, the aromatic bouquet reveals citrus notes of yuzu and grapefruit, along with gourmet notes of white peach and brioche. Beautiful iodised mineral notes appear next. Vibrating with energy and sustained by a crisp acidity, the palate is packed with the flavor of fruit, with hints of tropical fruit and citrus. The vintage has a beautifully gourmet texture. Offering a nice tension, the end of mouth stretches into a persistent length, tinged with a beautiful minerality. A great vintage of white for Château Valandraud, a Bordeaux Blanc Sec accessible in its youth but also promising a beautiful evolution over time in the bottle.
