A mineral and aromatic Champagne wine
Founded in 1760, the Delamotte Champagne House is one of the five oldest houses in the Champagne region. Located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, in Mesnil-sur-Oger, the Delamotte House shares the same goal-oriented approach as the mythical neighbouring house, Salon. Under the direction of Didier Depond, the Houses benefit from the same sales team, a single vineyard division and a shared Cellar Master who all watch over the destiny of the two sister houses. Delamotte is thus one of the few wine merchants to work with passion and respect for the environment, in order to express the unique terroir of Champagne.
The elegance of the Delamotte style is expressed by the location of its vineyards. All the grapes come from the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant.
"Vive et me ama", "Live and love me". This motto inscribed on the coat of arms of Maison Delamotte reflects the importance of the family history and its transmission to future generations. These cornerstones are at the very heart of the Delamotte Collection vintages. Rare and exceptional champagnes, stored in the underground cellars of Mesnil-sur-Oger, exude the family's values and perpetuate the history of this house through the ages. Each of these fine vintages, called Collection, benefits from a prolonged ageing on laths and a late disgorgement, upon request only. Hand-labelled, these exceptional bottles are adorned with a black and gold metal plate.
