The origins of the Maison De Sousa dates back to the First Wolrd War, when Manuel de Sousa arrived in France with the "poilus" (i.e. the French soldiers during WW1). At the end of the war, he settled in Avize where his son married a winegrower's daughter, thus giving birth to the De Sousa Champagne House. When Erick de Sousa took over in 1986, an exceptional growth happenned, making this estate a major and key player in Champagne. This House is located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs and takes advantage of the best parcels classifed as Grand Crus to produce among others the Cuvee "Caudalies", which remains the perfect example.Read More
