2006 Saint-Emilion Premier Cru Classe B
The 2006 Chateau Canon is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc. This classic vintage, from the notable Saint-Emilion appellation, carries rich aromas. The nose opens-up with cherry, damson plum, and figs evolving into mild spices, cumin, subtle hints of roasted coffee, almond, hazelnut, or even dry flowers and thyme. The palate is elegant and lean but also quite poised.
