A vibrant and delicate grand red wine from Pomerol
The estate
Owned by the Delon Estates, the Château Nénin represents, according to the Delon family, "the expression of a great Pomerol for ageing". This 19th century property was acquired by the Delons in 1997 and underwent a major restructuring that has today brought Château Nénin to the pinnacle of Pomerol.
The vineyard
Located on the plateau of Pomerol, the vineyard of Château Nénin extends over an area of 30 hectares. The vines are planted on a mosaic of terroirs composed of clayey soils, siliceous gravels, quartz, granites, basalt pebbles and iron slag.
Blend
This Château Nénin 2023 is the result of a blend of merlot (67%), cabernet franc (30%) and cabernet sauvignon (3%).
