49 hectares of the Chateau Peyrabon vineyard is dedicated to the production of the estate's Second Wine. The 2007 Haut-Medoc Pierbone is a blend of 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 43.5% Merlot and 7.5% Petit Verdot.
The wine displays an elegant, dense and bright burgundy colour. The nose is delicate and composed of citrus fruit notes. The ample and fleshy palate possesses a soft and melted structure. The balance is homogeneous throughout the tasting and is characterised by an aromatically persistent finish, marked by spices.
