A smooth and round Médoc red wine

Château Potensac has 84 hectares of vineyards. It is located in the Médoc. The blend of this exceptional Cru Bourgeois is 49% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 1% Petit Verdot.

The Château Potensac 2013 has red fruit aromas on the nose. On the palate, the wine is smooth and offers a great roundness. It is pleasant due to its clay terroir, which contributes to the wine’s cherry and currant flavours. Best to consume before 2018-2019.

    Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2013 Potensac has a light, brambly bouquet that, to be honest, needs to show more presence, more sense of purpose. It is a little ephemeral. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin, nicely judged acidity, quite harmonious in the mouth even if it does lack substance and drifts towards the dry finish. Enjoy this over the next 4-5 years.
