2010 Pomerol from Bordeaux

The 2010 Chateau Vray Croix de Gay comes from a 12 acres estate and is composed of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc
This Pomerol reveals blueberry and violet notes, and a woody hint. Pure and clean on the palate, this solid wine is medium-bodied and offers liquorice, herbs, black cherry and blackcurrant notes, as well as floral aromas. Moderately robust, the 2010 Chateau Vray Croix de Gay carries light tannins on a relatively long finish

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2010 Vray Croix de Gay is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc (pretty much a standard reference blend for many estates in Pomerol). This tiny estate of approximately 12 acres has produced a solid wine with medium body and attractive notes of licorice, roasted herbs and forest flora as well as black cherries and black currants. The wine is medium-bodied and well-made, with light tannins in the finish. Give it 1-2 years of cellaring and drink it over the following 10 years.
