2015 Pomerol from Bordeaux.

Chateau Vray Croix de Gay gets its name from the name of the cross that adjoins the vineyard and that used to guide the Way of Saint James pilgrims. The less than 4 hectares vineyard is located in the heart of the Pomerol appellation. The 2014 vintage is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.
This 2014 displays an intense and dark colour. The wine reveals a ripeness sensation composed of raspberry coulis with plum; the whole blends into red liquorice notes. On the palate, the 2014 Chateau Vray Croix de Gay develops an extremely fruity attack and then softly evolves to end on a mellow finish that reveals a pure fruit. Deep and silky, this 2014 Pomerol possesses long tannins with elegant depth.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The Château Vray Crois de Gay 2014 has a well-defined bouquet with dark plum and blackberry scents mixed with black truffle. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and fine tannins, but missing a little length. This is actually one vintage where I would opt for the Guichard's Saint Emilion cru, Château Le Prieuré.
