A deep Pomerol red wine
Clos René is a wine from the Pomerol appellation. The blend is made with Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
At tasting, the Clos René 2014 offers a nose of great depth with aromas of rose petals that appear over time. Many intense fruity fragrances emerge from this wine. The palate is medium-bodied and the tannins present have finesse. One can feel a crispy acidity with a little energy on the finish.
