Description
A complex and intense rosé Vin de France
The estate
A young agriculturalist from Alsace, Marcel Ott settled in Provence in 1896 determined to turn around a phylloxera-ravaged vineyard to produce great wines. Today, the Ott family has handed down this know-how to produce a range of rosé, red and white Provence wines from three estates: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. Created by René Ott in the 1930s, the striking Domaines Ott* bottle is a sign of the quality of these great wines of Provence. In 2004, Domaines Ott* joined the Louis Roederer House.

Tasting
Colour
The wine has a bright, pale pink colour with silver highlights.
Nose
All-enveloping and mineral, the nose mingles citrus notes with more subtle ones of mango, peach and raspberry which combine with touches of toasted almonds.
Palate
The palate, with a lovely intensity, unveils toasted notes accompanied by scents of grapefruit zest. The finish is long and has a fine hint of licorice.
