A complex and intense rosé Vin de France
A young agriculturalist from Alsace, Marcel Ott settled in Provence in 1896 determined to turn around a phylloxera-ravaged vineyard to produce great wines. Today, the Ott family has handed down this know-how to produce a range of rosé, red and white Provence wines from three estates: Château de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. Created by René Ott in the 1930s, the striking Domaines Ott* bottle is a sign of the quality of these great wines of Provence. In 2004, Domaines Ott* joined the Louis Roederer House.
Étoile rosé 2022 des Domaines Ott* is a vin de France wine made from the Clos Mireille vineyard with schist soil, the Château de Selle vineyard with limestone soil and the Château de Romassan vineyard with calcareous sandstone and sandy marl soil.
This "author's" wine aims to deepen, through a free composition, the expression of the best of the terroirs of Clos Mireille, Château de Selle and Château de Romassan.
Winemaking and ageing

Characteristics and tasting tips for Étoile rosé 2022 from Domaines Ott*
The wine has a bright, pale pink colour with silver highlights.
All-enveloping and mineral, the nose mingles citrus notes with more subtle ones of mango, peach and raspberry which combine with touches of toasted almonds.
The palate, with a lovely intensity, unveils toasted notes accompanied by scents of grapefruit zest. The finish is long and has a fine hint of licorice.
