The Croze-Hermitage White of E. Guigal is a white wine produced in the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. Aged 25 years on average, the vines are planted on clayey-silty and sandy-gravelly soils. The ageing of the Crozes-Hermitage White 2014 is carried out for 12 months partly in wood. This wine consists of a blend of Marsanne (primarily) and Roussanne.
At tasting, the Crozes-Hermitage White 2014 of E. Guigal displays a yellow gold colour. The nose develops notes of white flowers (hawthorn, acacias). The Crozes-Hermitage Blanc 2014 shows finesse and elegance in the mouth, revealing itself to be ample, well-rounded and rich. On the whole, this cuvee is very fresh, fine and rich, a great example of the appellation.

Made from mostly Marsanne with a kiss of Roussanne, which comes from hillside vineyards, the 2014 Crozes Hermitage Blanc offers up classy notes of orange blossom, honeyed stone fruits and spice to go with a medium-bodied, elegant profile on the palate. Its mid-palate depth and bright acidity suggest it will drink nicely for 4-5 years.
