2013 Blagny Premier Cru, pure Pinot Noir, Burgundy.

The 2013 Blagny Premier Cru La Pièce sous le Bois of Domaine Faiveley is pure Pinot Noir. The wine was aged in oak barrels in a beautiful cellar from the 19th century. 
The 2013 Blagny displays a barely garnet-tinted bright red colour. On the nose, it gives off black fruits and cooked red berry aromas which perfectly mix with smoky and caramelised notes. The 2013 Blagny Premier Cru La Pièce sous le Bois carries good, round and sweet amplitude.
